On the 5th May I had a stall at the Chertsey community market fair, outside the Moldova magazine shop.
Despite some unpleasant and windy weather, it was a great day, with plenty of honey and wax candles sold. Customers overwhelmingly preferred runny honey. However, a few customers singled out set honey as a preference.
One artistic customer left a painting of a bee on a pebble, on the stall table, for others to pick up and share.
I'm looking forward to hopefully make the Chertsey fair a regular monthly event.
